Sadaf Tayefeh

I'm a product and UX designer with a background in computer engineering and human-computer interaction, working at the intersection of how systems are built and how they are used in practice. My work focuses on translating complex systems—especially in AI and healthcare—into clear, trustworthy interfaces that support real decision-making. I care deeply about research-backed design, intuitive information hierarchy, and creating experiences that hold up in high-stakes environments.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Amirkabir University of Technology and continued my studies in HCI at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I deepened my focus on usability, interaction design, and human-centered evaluation. Recently, my work has centered on designing clinical decision support tools, where usability, safety, and trust are tightly connected, and where design decisions can directly impact outcomes.

I collaborate best when design and engineering stay in close conversation. Whether I’m shaping an AI-driven dashboard, designing multi-step workflows, or building scalable design systems, I approach problems with both technical understanding and a strong focus on human experience.
